06.09.22 Maybe Today

Psalm 46 I wanted to post this maybe today , today because I have been seeing a lot of people lately posting that they are growing weary, they want out of this wicked world or they want to die so they can get out of here. Yes, I'm tired too of this world. However, we STILL have things to do. The lost still need us! Until Christ calls us home, how do we deal with the evil that surrounds us? Yes, the world vexes me. It should vex every born-again believer! However, we still need to be present and engaging. Due to this uptick in many believers growing weary, myself included, yet, I do not want to die, I want us to dive into Psalm chapter 46 . There are many nuggets in this Psalm that it would take me pages to write this blog.  Let us spend a little time in God’s word dissecting what these words mean. The comfort this passage will bring and the hope of knowing my God is in control. I don't want the Bible to become tainted or overused in these passages. For instance, the favor ...

Nehemiah 9:6 (NASB 95 ed.) “ You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them And the heavenly host bows down before You .” The other day I posted on my Facebook page that I had an amazing privilege, a God-ordained conversation with two of the residents who live at my apartment complex. I was planning on leaving early and not spending the whole day at the pool, but God had other plans. To make a long story short, God gave me the chance to speak to an agnostic couple. Although they held this view, the questions they asked, revealed their deep desire for truth .  We talked about everything from being born gay, who I was in my "old life" (being bi-sexual, a drunk, a sexual deviant, angry, addicted to porn, and more), abortion, and who God and Jesus are. They questioned if Jesus was really who He said He was and was the only way? There mus...

Matthew 7:13-14 “ Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it . This verse is very simple and easy to understand. Matthew chapters 5-7 are known as the “ Sermon on the Mount ”. It’s a kingdom based sermon and Jesus spoke to His disciples in the crowd and his own personal followers. At this point it appears it was only Peter, Andrew, James and John . Matthew was called after this sermon according to Matthew chapter 9. In Matthew chapter 10, Jesus named all twelve. In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus talks in TWO’s TWO gates  πŸŒ‰ TWO trees πŸŒ²πŸŒ΄ TWO foundations  🏠🧱 Many will say the passage in verses 13-14 are referring to false teachers. I do not see that because in verse 15 Jesus begins to mention “ beware ⚠️ of false teachers ” and leads into the second TWO listed above. ...

Jesus is soon to rescue each and everyone of us!!  Through his anguish and despair notice David’s responses.  We all go through it. However, God never ever wants us to stay there!  Bask in this Psalm today and pay close attention to David's reactions!  Psalm 42 As the deer🦌 pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, While they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember and I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go along with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God, With the voice of joy and thanksgiving, a multitude keeping festival. Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God , for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. O my God, my soul is in despair within me; Therefore I remember You from the land ...

a False light that will Give a False Conversion Yesterday’s post caused a man to twist my words. He wrote his own version of my blog by inserting things I never said and than proceeded to make a Facebook post on both his personal and group pages. He was bashing, not only me, but the blog. I replied back and said he was lying and maybe he should have another "cloud" visit" and I told him he was mental. Not very godly but was a tad vexed. It was also at that time that someone inboxes me telling me how they loved my blog on discernment . To the man who lied, thank you for proving to me the post was a God nudge. I always know its a real nudge because  every time I find myself getting a strong nudging to post or record a podcast, something happens to disrupt  the flow. I either lose "friends" or the spiritually dead come out and want to get really angry with me, or something mechanical goes wrong.  ✔ First , nowhere was I judging anyone in the TRUE faith! ...

1 Corinthians 2:14 "But a natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." This  ✍ blog ✍  today may upset some, yet it is straight TRUTH from God’s word. If you want to understand πŸ€”  some things you may have said or done, keep reading. You may find TRUTH in the precious word of God! What is discernment?  Is it a psychic ability to know who is saved or not? Is it hearing from God audibly while taking a walk? Is it just flippantly opening the bible and are like, oh my, yes God that was the verse for me. I can do all things through you! You will part the Red Sea?  Is it the ability to know what is true or false? Ding πŸ””  Ding  πŸ”” DingπŸ””….it’s the latter. It is knowing how to judge truth from what is false.  The word “discerned” is the word “judged”. The TRUE believer has the ability to judge or discern because we...

5.13.22 - Maybe Today

Friday the 13th. A day that so many tap into their superstitious minds and feed into the hype. I want us to reflect on something different today.  In the beginning, Light was with God. Meaning, from the very beginning, Jesus was.  Jesus was not created or when born, than became divine. Jesus was always and will always be the Son of God.  Jesus said, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End ." He did not mince His words.  This world is dark. I think believer or unbeliever can see that. There is a LONG list of what is happening, and at a rapid pace, but no need to list them all out here today. I think you already know.   Today's encouragement is found in 2 Corinthians 4:6 (NASB '95 ed.). It says,  " For God, who said, “ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ ." What does that verse mean exactly.  I will break it down bec...
