Matthew 7:13-14 “ Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. a False light that will Give a False Conversion Yesterday’s post caused a man to twist my words. He wrote his own version of my blog by inserting things I never said and than proceeded to make a Facebook post on both his personal and group pages. He was bashing, not only me, but the blog. I replied back and said he was lying and maybe he should have another "cloud" visit" and I told him he was mental. Not very godly but was a tad vexed. It was also at that time that someone inboxes me telling me how they loved my blog on discernment . To the man who lied, thank you for proving to me the post was a God nudge. I always know its a real nudge because  every time I find myself getting a strong nudging to post or record a podcast, something happens to disrupt  the flow. Friday the 13th. A day that so many tap into their superstitious minds and feed into the hype. I want us to reflect on something different today.  In the beginning, Light was with God. Meaning, from the very beginning, Jesus was.  Jesus was not created or when born, than became divine. Jesus was always and will always be the Son of God.  Jesus said, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End ." He did not mince His words.  This world is dark. I think believer or unbeliever can see that. There is a LONG list of what is happening, and at a rapid pace, but no need to list them all out here today. It says,  " For God, who said, “ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ ."   As followers of Christ, we are often asked, " why do you talk about Jesus coming again so often? I mean we've had wars, earthquakes and all the other things you folks always talk about. Why is this time we live in any different ?"  Great questions and here are the answers.   First, we talk about Jesus's coming for one reason. To warn of God's impending judgment that is soon to fall on this sin-sick world.  Second, yes, we've had wars and earthquakes since time began however, there is one pivotal thing to understand when you ask that question. We didn't have the birth of the nation of Israel yet.  Ezekiel chapter 36 tells us that this would happen and it did. This prophecy was not only fulfilled on May 14, 1948 , but it began, at least to me, the last days time clock. W ars and earthquakes  are just a mere fraction of what is to come in these last days. No better way to make sure we take care of ourselves in these MOST crazy times than our gentle reminder we read about in Psalm 46:10 . I love how the NASB (1995 ed.) reads.  The Psalmist  says,  “ Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth .” Cease in this passage, from the Greek, means to relax, become helpless , forsake, abandon.  WOW!!  So basically it means, abandon our striving.  What is it that you strive for?  What keeps you from being "still" and solely REST upon our Elohim?  As I look at the calm of the picture, may we REST in God’s promises that He is in control.  There is no need to fear or be dismayed . God has got all of His children in the palm of His hand. That is why it is so important to make sure you are SAVED!! Why? See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end . ( Seal 2 ) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom
