10-03-2022 - Maybe Today

Hello! It has been a LONG time, 3 months since my last "Maybe Today". I was transitioning jobs and also focusing more on the podcast and other personal issues.  I was prompted to write today and discuss false teachers and why the growth spurt seems to be happening all around us. It seems like we hear everyday of someone new shaming the name of Christ or spewing more false doctrine!  Just recently, Matt Chandler comes to mind. I could say a lot more on him and other Calvinists but that is for another time.  Those who follow the ticking clock of the times we live in, know what  1 Timothy 4:1-3  says. However, Jude 17-18 gives us more insight by saying,   But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts .  These are the SAME enemies which have entered the church and  2 ...

Israel  is God's TIMEPIECE and that is where our focus needs to be. Have you witnessed  πŸ—£  or tried to  witness  πŸ—£  to anyone from Israel ? It's challenging, yet rewarding when they listen and do not dismiss what you say. Time is running ⌛out and God's focus is soon to be solely on  Israel  and the PROMISES He made to them. In Dr. Ice’s article, God's Purpose for  Israel  During the Tribulation , he said,  “ One of the major Divine purposes for the tribulation in relation to  Israel  is the conversion of the Jewish remnant to faith in Jesus as their Messiah . This will take place throughout the tribulation, but by the end of the seven-year period the entire number of the elect remnant will become converted to Jesus. That number is likely a third of the Jewish people as noted in Zechariah 13: 9. And I will bring the third part through the fire, refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested....

06.28.22 - Maybe Today

This world is getting darker! However, this blog today will make it seem lighter !  Jesus IS the LIGHT of the world and we are that city on a hill that CAN NOT be hidden. Do not hide from the lost world today because Maybe Today , we will  hear the sound  and the voice of Jesus saying, " COME UP HERE !" The passage I would like to use today for encouragement is from  Psalm chapter 71 verses 1-3 . In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; Refuge means, "a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble. Yes, cows are dying,  shortages are coming,  evil is ensuing at an alarming rate, gas is skyrocketing, inflation is crippling, BUT have YOU truly taken REFUGE in the Lord? I am safe and sheltered when I take refuge in Him. I do not worry or fear. I may be the dumbest person on earth for being ill-prepared or maybe the smartest for my whole reliance on my God, my REFUGE. Why would God say this if He didn't mean it? Do not let these...

Psalm 46 I wanted to post this maybe today , today because I have been seeing a lot of people lately posting that they are growing weary, they want out of this wicked world or they want to die so they can get out of here. Yes, I'm tired too of this world. However, we STILL have things to do. The lost still need us! Until Christ calls us home, how do we deal with the evil that surrounds us? Yes, the world vexes me. It should vex every born-again believer! However, we still need to be present and engaging. Due to this uptick in many believers growing weary, myself included, yet, I do not want to die, I want us to dive into Psalm chapter 46 . There are many nuggets in this Psalm that it would take me pages to write this blog.  Let us spend a little time in God’s word dissecting what these words mean. The comfort this passage will bring and the hope of knowing my God is in control. I don't want the Bible to become tainted or overused in these passages. For instance, the favor ...

Nehemiah 9:6 (NASB 95 ed.) “ You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them And the heavenly host bows down before You .” The other day I posted on my Facebook page that I had an amazing privilege, a God-ordained conversation with two of the residents who live at my apartment complex. I was planning on leaving early and not spending the whole day at the pool, but God had other plans. To make a long story short, God gave me the chance to speak to an agnostic couple. Although they held this view, the questions they asked, revealed their deep desire for truth .  We talked about everything from being born gay, who I was in my "old life" (being bi-sexual, a drunk, a sexual deviant, angry, addicted to porn, and more), abortion, and who God and Jesus are. They questioned if Jesus was really who He said He was and was the only way? There mus...

Matthew 7:13-14 “ Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it . This verse is very simple and easy to understand. Matthew chapters 5-7 are known as the “ Sermon on the Mount ”. It’s a kingdom based sermon and Jesus spoke to His disciples in the crowd and his own personal followers. At this point it appears it was only Peter, Andrew, James and John . Matthew was called after this sermon according to Matthew chapter 9. In Matthew chapter 10, Jesus named all twelve. In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus talks in TWO’s TWO gates  πŸŒ‰ TWO trees πŸŒ²πŸŒ΄ TWO foundations  🏠🧱 Many will say the passage in verses 13-14 are referring to false teachers. I do not see that because in verse 15 Jesus begins to mention “ beware ⚠️ of false teachers ” and leads into the second TWO listed above. ...

Jesus is soon to rescue each and everyone of us!!  Through his anguish and despair notice David’s responses.  We all go through it. However, God never ever wants us to stay there!  Bask in this Psalm today and pay close attention to David's reactions!  Psalm 42 As the deer🦌 pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, While they say to me all day long, “Where is your God?” These things I remember and I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go along with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God, With the voice of joy and thanksgiving, a multitude keeping festival. Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God , for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. O my God, my soul is in despair within me; Therefore I remember You from the land ...
