Hello! It has been a LONG time, 3 months since my last "Maybe Today". I was transitioning jobs and also focusing more on the podcast and other personal issues.
I was prompted to write today and discuss false teachers and why the growth spurt seems to be happening all around us. It seems like we hear everyday of someone new shaming the name of Christ or spewing more false doctrine!
Just recently, Matt Chandler comes to mind. I could say a lot more on him and other Calvinists but that is for another time.
Those who follow the ticking clock of the times we live in, know what 1 Timothy 4:1-3 says. However, Jude 17-18 gives us more insight by saying,
But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.
These are the SAME enemies which have entered the church and 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 cannot make it any clearer. Not only does Satan, yes Satan, put on the "preacher" mask and talk to you every Sunday but, he also has his own servants who do the same.
How many preachers can you think of right now that prove this verse is correct? We can say, well those who are truly in the faith, that the Kenneth Copeland's, the Jessie Duplantis's, the Joel Osteen's are so far way off it should be evident, right?
However, there are the subtle ones. The ones who creep inside your churches and your Facebook and YouTube feeds. The bible says they crept in unaware (Jude 1:4). Clearly the church is not paying attention.
Why does Jude speak so harsh regarding them? These false teachers pervert the true gospel and grace of God. They twist the words and seek to glorify themselves rather than God.
The Spirit clearly says that the last days and the sign of Christ's coming is a debased church. A church that is degenerate. That word means,
having lost the physical, mental, or moral qualities considered normal and desirable; showing evidence of decline.
I think we can all say, the church has begun showing severe evidence of decline.
New Apostolic Reformation ("NAR"), Charismatic, Calvinism, Catholicism, Mormonism, Spiritualism, and more have been growing at an alarming rate. What seemed like "sound" teachers are abandoning their prior beliefs and going a completely different direction. They don't realize how they are fulfilling bible prophecy. Remember Jesus's words though, He "never knew them!" They haven't departed, they never were!
The NAR is a demonic realm and one I had to back away from when two friends of mine moved down from Tennessee. I won't discuss this here but on one of LifeClips "Red Light Editions" in a few weeks.
This sect of false religion are sending many to the pits of hell. This NAR movement is full of deceiving and deceitful spirits. I want to quote from The Bible Knowledge Commentary,
"The teachings (didaskaliais) of demons are false doctrines taught by errorists whose views are instigated by demons."
Continuing to quote,
"They are hypocritical liars. This is Satan's standard operating procedure. He selects likely representative and renders their consciences beyond feeling, seared (from kausteriazo, "to brand, cauterize") as with a hot iron."
Wow!! They are branded by Satan. Just as farmers have ownership of their livestock and brand them, so is the same with the enemy. He owns them, not God! Therefore these false teachers are branded. The very word that should perk the ears of any believer is the words used in Galatians chapter 1 verses 8-9. This passage tells us twice, they are accursed.
Paul was calling out the Gnostic teachers when he penned 1 Timothy. Paul was warning Timothy to make sure he also told his sheep regarding this warning.
Paul did not ignore it.
Paul did not refuse to expose it.
Paul did not refuse to mark them.
Paul called it out!
RUN from falsehoods. I do not care if you've been in that church your whole life. RUN!
It doesn't matter if there is "some truth" yet a majority of what they say is 100% against the word of God. RUN!
RUN! RUN! RUN!
As the clock ticks closer to the soon return of Christ to rapture His TRUE bride in the air, we must remember, apostasy will grow.
There will be many "Christians" left behind. Those who preached another gospel will get their rightful ending. The strong delusion that antichrist is their messiah will fall upon them!
Expose, mark and have NO fellowship with these people!
RUN! RUN! RUN!
