Restless Spirit

Seek God and continue to KNOCK I have been a restless spirit most of my life. I have embraced that. It's not a bad thing if used as it should be used.  While backslidden, that spirit wasn't good for me. Now, it is an awesome trait to have. Many people are content with staying in a permanent place. Whether that be a home, city, job, or church.  I firmly believe that God gives us different seasons.  For me, my past was one season. My sanctification processes were another. My current life is yet another. I reflect on the song, Every Season . Here are the lyrics. Every evening sky, an invitation To trace the patterned stars And early in July, a celebration For the freedom that is ours And I notice You In children's games In those who watch them from the shade Every drop of sun is full of fun and wonder You are summer And even when the trees have just surrendered To the harvest time Forfeiting their leaves in late September And sending us inside Still, I notice You when c...

Proverbs Week - Proverbs 31

Proverbs Week You all know Fridays are my LONGEST blogs!! I mean come on, you don't hear from me for two days.    🤣🤣🤣 I wanted to see why so many women say I am a "Proverbs 31 Woman" ("P31W")  I want to see exactly what I have been missing in the Bible all these years. I think I've stayed away from this topic because of the false names associated with it.  Today though... I STIR the POT When I talk about your favorite false teacher, musician, movie, or show, you tune me out. That is fine. It still doesn't stop me!  All of these ladies who are part of this "ministry" NEVER offer a relationship with Jesus. They offer "life tips". The female versions of Joel Osteen. Let us examine the writers and authors.  The President of P31W - Lysa TerKeurst   She has poor theology.  She is a member of Steven Furtick's Elevation Church. Sitting under that extremely POOR theology has bled into her work.  She loves her some Christine Caine . Chr...

Proverbs Week: Proverbs 12

Proverbs Week I love the stark con trast between the wise/righteous and the foolish/wicked in this Proverb.  This is the PER FECT Proverb that shines a big light on why we are seeing what we are seeing in our culture today.  Which part of this Proverb are you? I am using the  New English Translation (NET).  Proverbs Chapter 12   The one who loves 💓discipline loves  💓  knowledge, but the one who hates 😠 reproof (reprimand, reproach, condemnation) is stupid. In today's culture, we see 👀people hating to be reprimanded or "judged" based off of how they live.  Proverbs is so relevant for today, would you agree? I  hope you stick with me and we seek to understand why these  con trasts  are so important. It allows us to really dive into the fallen behavior of many and have a better understanding of why the lost are the way that they are.  The lost are NEVER to far from God's reach!! WE must all remember that! A good person ...
