A.C.T.S.

What does A.C.T.S. mean and how can it help your prayer life?

This could be a new way to start a productive prayer life.

Can't say I made this up. I heard about this years ago. I have tried to make it work and keep with this pattern for a long time.

Time with our Adonai is most precious. one we should never take for granted.

To know that I can go directly to Jesus is a blessed feeling. its a bond that no other religion can offer. Jesus is my only mediator. how powerful is that?

I will give an outline to this method. feel free use it and share it in the hopes that it may help others get a more productive, kingdom minded prayer life!

A.C.T.S.
A - doration - Giving praise, worship, respect, reverence to God.

Call God by His other names while you are in your prayer time. Perhaps the names listed below, will help you speak to God in a more open and real way.

Knowing His names can be life changing.

Who is God really?

His names say who He is.
I have listed a mere fraction below. I recommend taking time out to know more of the names of God. You will be surprised how you remember them in times of need. The more you know about God and His character, the more you can boldly and confidently go to Him in the "A.C.T.S" technique.

He is not some "big man in the sky" who ignores the pleas of His people.

By the way, I loathe when folks call God, "hey big man" - disrespect for the HOLINESS of God.

  • El (God)- as found in Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays His handiwork.
  • Elohim
  • Jehovah Rapha (Healer)
  • Jehovah Jireh (Provider)
  • Jehovah Nissi (Banner)
  • Adonai (Lord)
  • YHWH (YaHWeH) some say this is the sound of our breathing. Breathing in while saying Yah and out while saying Weh. Not sure if this is New-Aging but I've done it while in praise mode. Just thought I would suggest this.
  • El Shalom (God of Peace)
  • The Potter
  • Consuming Fire
  • Rock
  • Savior
Here are some verses to Mediate Upon

Joshua 2:11
The Lord my God is God in the heavens above
and in the earth below.

2 Samuel 7:22
For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

1 Kings 8:23
O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below; You keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart.

Nehemiah 9:32
You are the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps His covenant of lovingkindness.

Psalm 9:1-2
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. I will rejoice and be jubilant in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

Psalm 36:5-7
Your mercy, Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like the great deep. Lord, You protect mankind and animals. How precious is Your mercy, God! And the sons of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

Psalm 71:8
My mouth is filled with Your praise, And with Your glory all day long.

Psalm 103:1-4
Bless the Lord, my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits; Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion;

C - confession - Now many people say they do not need to do this once they are saved. I agree.

However, if you do something wrong against your spouse, do you not feel the need to tell them sorry or confess something to them? The longer the wrong is done against them, the harder it is to tell them. You become distant or rude. Something is bothering you and they know it.

Same principle

I think we'd all agree, if I lingered in my sin, my relationship with God would suffer.
I would not pray as much, read His word or even fellowship in church.

I, not god, i would feel distant.

AGAIN, I DO NOT BELIEE IN WORKS (LORDSHIP) TO MAINTAIN YOUR SALVATION, OR THAT ONE CAN LOSE THEIR SALAVTION.

Skip this part if you'd like. I enjoy confessing to God. Sin COULD hinder your relationship with God. NOT the eternal security part but as with any relationship, the closeness to your Savior can be hindered.

James 5:16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

a great King above all gods. The depths of the earth are in His hand, and the mountain peaks are His. The sea is His; He made it.
His hands formed the dry land.

2 Corinthians 9:15 (KJV)
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

S - upplication - Humbly praying to God!

What is the difference between prayer and supplication?

When you pray, you do not always ask. Prayer can praise or just thankfulness to God. Prayer can also be talking to God.

Prayer is a continued act.

However, when you pray with supplication, your pleading to God. Is there something you need to plead to God about?

Supplication is used when you want to petition the throne room of God.

Perhaps something for you or perhaps a time of pure humble prayer for a lost loved one.

Understanding that prayer and supplication are different things, may change how you pray.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Psalm 116:1-2 (NET)
I love the Lord because he heard my plea for mercy, and listened to me. As long as I live, I will call to him when I need help.

I hope today's blog helps you dive into a more deeper, organic, genuine, longer and most of all, amazing prayer life!

Go to God for the small

Go to God for the big

Whatever you do

Don't stop going to God!

Date Setting and High Watch Times

I have struggled with posting this blog for a while now. I knew that many people, should I vocalize my biblical opinion, would leave my YouTube and Rumble channels. In my flesh, I was like, oh no. I cannot have that. However, the Holy Spirit gave me a strong dose of conviction. He reminded me of Galatians 1:10.  For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. I am a bondservant of Christ. His slave. Therefore I do what He wants. I am finally " coming out ", and I could not be more at peace. God leads by peace. God also gives courage. I am leaning into that courage. It is challenging to stand against the very thing tens of thousands of people follow. Sincere they may be, however, they are deceived. They have joined forces with these YouTubers who continually pull news headlines into the bible and forcefully try to make it all fit. They give you the Jewish "f...

12-21-22 Maybe Today

We all seem to pass right by the first four verses in Luke. We get to the part when our savior, Jesus was born but have you taken time to study out the first four verses? This part seems to be omitted when telling the CHRIST mas story, or as we pagans say, the birth of Christ.  Why do we, as followers of Christ, believe that a sinless man came to earth and that His sole purpose was to die on a cross for all the sins of the world. Luke 1:1-4 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word, it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught . WOW!! Did you catch it? As Luke penned this to Theophilus, Luke also explained to him that h...

11/30/22 - Maybe Today

If God dealt with false teachers and false prophets like He did in the Old Testament, this nonsense would not continue to grow and fester like a canker sore.  As you all know, I do not write daily only when I feel a nudge from the Holy Spirit to do so.  Today I want GOD to speak.  May you understand one very important thing. God called them a "prophet" in Scriptures, however, it's by title only and most are NOT sent from God.  Not only in our current day, but since times past, and extending into the future, this false  title will continue to be used for them. They will continue to peddle their lies and many will still follow them. Howbeit, this falsehood will be set at its maximum capacity during the Tribulation with the rising of the FINAL False PROPHET! I could list hundreds of verses on this topic but here are just a few. The apostasy and falsehoods will get worse and worse until Jesus raptures His bride . What does God say… Ezekiel Chap...
